There actually seem to be four updates. There are two driver updates:
and two firmware updates:
All of the updates provide "additional safety" when updating the firmware.
If that isn't confusing enough, most of the updates also have prerequisites, some cascading to multiple previous updates. Why couldn't HP roll them up into one update? And why can't they make the prerequisite updates have numbers
less than the number of an update?
Also, the second update in each list includes WPA support. If you install that but don't use WPA, will it kill WEP support or just supplement it?
Finally, where is the signal strength indicator? I don't think I've ever seen one on my 5550.
