MY hx4700 is amazingly slow to synchronize

Default MY hx4700 is amazingly slow to synchronize
Is this a common problem? I have Win Mobile 5 and just bought this a couple of weeks ago. It takes a wildly long time to synch with the desktop. Is this normal??
