MIO 168 sound issue

Default MIO 168 sound issue
I have a MIO 168 which is great apart from when it makes a squelchy sound when no sound is supposed to be playing.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I had a review unit for a short time last year, but I didn't experience any problems when the sound was muted. Is it a constant sound or is it associated with screen taps?
