Default Lost all my apps!

I have an iPaq 5450 series. The weather here in Central PA took a turn over the past week, so I accidently left my iPaq in my winter coat for about a week without turning it on.

Much to my dismay, when I did finally remember to grab it, I pressed the on button and nothing happened. No big deal I thought, I'll just put it in its cradle to recharge. Well, I did this and synced up, and apparently it has totally reset. None of the programs that I've installed are there any more.

Is there a way to reinstall things without going back through the install for each app? Is there a way I can back my iPaq up so that this doesn't happen next time?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Your device has a built in backup program already. It is under programs. Unfortunately, you will have to re-install all your apps since what happened was a hard re-set.
