Default iPAQ 5450 WLAN not responding

Any help would be appreciated...

I have had my iPAQ 5450 for about 2 months and recently tried to test out my old Compaq "PC Expansion Pack" Jack (I have no idea what possessed me to try this!?!).

Coincidently, around the same time my WLAN stop responding. Soft resets galore and still no change. Fiddling with all the settings still shows the WLAN as "Initializing.."

Here's the kicker.... I am also using a Sandisk 128 SD card....

Any ideas.... (Hard Reset?)

Before you hard reset, take the battery off and wait a few minutes then put it back on. Most times this fixes the wlan issue.

I wouldn't take it out for that long. I have had the same problem twice and all you need to do is remove the battery for about 10 seconds and put it back in. Taking it out for 2 mins will probably hard reset the device and this is unnecessary.

Put it back in... and presto... working WLAN.
