I hope you're right. That kind of unit will also need a much better battery than what's in the 1910 I would think to support both SD and CF. I couldn't imagine them maintaining such tiny form-factor w/ the addition of CF... assuming the 1910 becomes a big hit (which I think it will be), I don't think it would appear intelligent to stop producing 1910-sized units. I also wonder what's coming up for their high-end devices.... continuing without built-in CF support will not help sales when a cheaper unit is available with better media support.

if this is really true, then i feel the 3900 series is not a worthy deal!!

Default Time frame

Is there a time-frame for this 2200 series?

I already bought a 1910 (love it by the way) and would have to buy another one soon. (The Wife has already started complaining I buy a new pda every 6 months).

I have heard from someone who has talked with an HP rep that the 2200 series will ship "sometime in summer 2003". The same rep told him about the built-in CF and SD slots and the PPC2003 system.

They'd have to sell it close to the price of the Axim then... I've heard that their profit margins are already slim on their $299 HP1910...

Default FCC exposes HP iPaq 2200s

Following are two links to the FCC pages describing the iPaq 2200:

https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws...=NM8GREATWALLB

Funny how it reminds me of those *ugly* Dells...
