There is a difference in screen from 1910 to 1940, but in my experience it really isn't a big deal. The yellowing on my 1940 is only pronounced if I tip the top of the unit a ways away from me. In general use I have not had a problem at all.
That said, I have heard that there may be differences in 1940's, that some are worse than others. So if you get one that is bad it might be worth returning and getting a different one.
For me though, it is wonderful. I was comparing the 1940 to the toshiba e355, and the 1940 had a much better, and much brighter screen, so it was an easy choice. Compared to the difference between the 1940 and the e355, the 1940 and 1910 difference is negligable.
