Default i730 heaset mono for calls.... where did the stereo go?

Just upgraded from my i600 to the i730... beautiful phone, although I didn't realize that all the software I got for the i600 would NOT work on the i730, being a Smartphone vs. Pocket PC...

The i600 was a really sturdy, fairly small and light, and functioned fairly well (albeit, usually one hard reset a day, but the features helped me with my business a LOT).

The i600's headset would provide phone call in stereo, which I grew to LOVE, and now it seems the i730 is back to mono even using the stereo headset...? What gives? Anyone else missing the stereo phone calls and/or know of a way to make the calls stereo again, or at least mono but in BOTH the left and right speakers?

Also, anyone know how to record both sides of a phone call using the voice recorder? Any hacks or whatever to do this?

Cheers!!!!

Steve
