Default Help with ActiveSync

My iPAQ rx3715 won't connect to my PC. It was working fine last night, then I made a backup and restored from it. Then, my iPAQ would only connect to my PC for about a second. I Hard reset my iPAQ, and I also uninstalled ActiveSync, but I cannot make a partenership and I still have the same problem. Can anyone help me??

I still don't know what happened the first time around, but the 2nd time I installed Windows, I discovered that I still had my PPC connected to the PC :/ I reinstalled Windows yet again and it works fine.

Default USB Port Problem

njl2016:

Have you at all experienced with other USB Ports on your computer?

I have had the same problem (and a similar one, where Actve Sync just kept TRYING to connect for forever and I have done EVERYTHING: Soft resets, uninstalled and reinstalled ActiveSync, hard reset my hx4705, which, funny enough, actually solved the problem for a couple of days, until I just had the same problem again.

Then, since I also sync at work, and had my work laptop at home with me, I tried syncing with that PC: NO PROBLEM!

Try a different USB Port, and I would advise one on the back of your desktop, if you also have fron ports. Without changing ANYTHING else, my iPAQ was synching again with no problems.
