While not impossible, it is doubtful. I periodically get discharges between my hand and the PDA when I reach for it on the cradle. The cradle and therefore the PDA is grounded via the AC power to the UPS plug and the wall, and via the USB connection to the PC, the UPS and the wall. Perfectly safe.

I'm having a major problem with static at the moment. It isn't perfectly safe, I'd like to say, since I recently zapped my 2210 and it hard reset itself.
