Default battery pack glitch? and killing programs

battery pack doesn't work well for me. after I install it, the section that should display data is blank and whatever overlaps it (menu) stays on the blank part. I think its called "burned".
- Is there any other program that displays battery stats?
- how about a program to kill programs?

You can try a little piece of freeware called vBar (vieka.com). It is a task manager which allows you to close (kill) individual or all programs. It also includes a little meter that displays current memory and battery status. The meter is not great, but it's free.

I've experienced some problems with batterypack as well. Check out SPB PocketPlus. It does what you want and more.
