Default Active sync sometimes syncs Outlook's Deleted Items folder
Every so often ActiveSync tries to sync my Deleted Items folder with my Pocket PC (WM2003). This leads to my PPC using up the majority of its memory with over 500 deleted emails. After another sync it usually clears itself again.

Is this some known annoying bug? Is there a way to stop it doing this? Why does it do it?

A quick work around....empty the deleted items folder in outlook....
Personally I've never seen the "bug/ issue" you claim. But then again, I empty regularily
