There's no definitive answer to this question at this stage. The best thing to do would be to bookmark the updates page at Asus and visit the page everyday. Once (if?) it's available, you'll be the first to get it. :mrgreen:

Does A730 not use the WMP10?
I still use my A620+ now, and I'm looking forward the WIFI one on sale soon!

I believe there will be an AKU (Adaptation Kit Update) released for the A730 in the not-too-distant future, which adds Windows Media Player 10 Mobile.

Nope, it doesn't. The PROPortable guy over at Brighthand ( http://discussion.brighthand.com/sho...&pagenumber=14 ), however, said the following:

"I know better than to assume, but I'm going to have to say WM10 is going to be available at some point..... I haven't heard anything though."

Zack's model of the A730 (which he reviewed) included the WMP10 Mobile application by way of AKU2. From that, there certainly is a strong suggestion that it may be made available for the device in the near future.

My review model included the AKU2 with Windows Media Player 10. From what I was told, it sounded like the firmware update was going to be released soon after my review unit was shipped out (that was late September).

I'm guessing that it should be released sometime soon, but that's only a guess. All I was told by Asus was that AKU2 will be coming out for the A730 at some point.
