Default 4150 restore via bluetooth fails

I recently accidentally let my 4150 run out of juice. Since I made a backup a couple of weeks ago I figured I'd restore it and then resync so that I don't need to reinstall all my apps.

Unfortunately, when I tried to restore, it failed stating that the backup was from a different type of device.

It was made from the same device, and I haven't changed my Regional Settings, so I don't know what caused the fail.

The only thing I can think of is that it's failing because I'm trying the restore via bluetooth (I'm on the road and don't have my cradle with me.)

For an experiment I rebuilt my ipaq, did another backup, blew it away and tried a restore. Same thing.

So what I'm wondering is if I'm missing something important here, or if it's just because I'm trying to restore via bluetooth? When I get home I'll try again via the cradle....
