Hi,

I have had my 3970 for around 9 months now, and have reasonably happy with it. Recently it is started randomly turning on and off at odd times. Most frustrating is the tendency to turn off whist in use on occaision. :evil:

Has anyone else had this experience and have any idea of what has gone wrong? I intend to call HP to get a replacement, but thought I'd ask here first.

This is a long shot, but is that "odd time" 12 am?

It doesn't seem to be any one time, but at random times. The most annoying part is when it switches off, I just turn it on again, but it should not be turning off - its not in accordance with the settings...
