They are probably updating what they carry because they seem to be liquidating the stock on pdas and accessories. I saw them fill 2 carts with pda accessories and cart them off, and they still haven't been replaced at the store I was in. And I also know that Best Buy doesn't fire employees that don't sell enough. They don't even keep track of individual sales. They get fired for doing a bad job just like anywhere else.

Easy choice for me. The only CF card I owned was a wifi card for my Axim X5. Since I was already using SD memory in my Axim and in my Digital Camera it was 4155 all the way!

Not the same. 2215 plus CF WiFi card = $400 + CF Card $75 = 4155 for less

As a person who uses the PPC for everything - Training (health type), ebooks, mp3 player, video player, work functions (e-mail, remote access, etc), education, games, etc. - here my upgrade path from a 3955 (as from all previous units) used the following logic which narrowed my choices down to 4155,2215, and e805.

1. Size. The 4155 wins this hands down. With the e805 coming in second. I don't want to have to carry anything besides my PPC. With the 2215 as with my 3955 in order to get full functionality I have to have extra pieces to carry. The fewer the better. Not to mentin the WiFI card fucntionality add's a good half inch to an inch to the size of the 2215.

2. Screen. The e805 had me drooling in the department. The 4155 and 2215 pretty much tied in the department. I cannot wait till the lovely 480x640 hits the smaller units.

3. Connectivity. The 4155 wins here also. The e805 is second by having wi-fi. This is important because the 4155 support both blue tooth and Wi-fi.

4. Future expansion. The 4155 won for me. It's debatable but the CF slot is not that big an issue here. You won't need a CF for WiFi or Bluetooth. So what else could you use it for? Tv tuner/ Fm radio? why bother when you have mp3 & mpegs to listen/watch. The reception is terrible anyway. GPS? Much better off using the blue tooth GPS's so you can have fewer wires hanging around, not to mention you navigtor(s) can hold the device versus playing with it in a vent mount. CF camera? Nope, have SD camera's now. Maybe a presentations hook up which is useless to me but very important to others. I'd have to research and see what else is available.

Basicaly the only thing I've lost expansin wise is the quick swap from my s40 of the CF to my ipaq for a bigger screen to preview pictures on. Hopefully this will be solved soon when I find the mysterious Panasonic CF to SD card.

In closing I see no reason to not upgrade, maybe a 100 loss if you have the 2215. You save the extra accersories you'd have to carry plus size (add in the antenna of your wifi card). If you are just buying there's no reason to by a 2215.

I read recently that Best Buy has decided to dramatically reduce the # of PDA's for sale at their retail stores. The powers that be forsee low to zero growth in sales of the units.
