Default Keyboard locked - How to make a hard or soft reset?

Hi,

I do have a Smartphone from Quanta Computer.
The problem is that the keyboard is "locked" - you can see in the screen, botton left, the word "Unlock" and that's the only one that blinks when the key just above is pressed.
It runs Windows Mobile 5.0, the Active sync is ok and communicating with the phone.

Is there any way to reset the phone by some software via ActiveSync?
Any clue on how to reset or unlock this?

Thanks,
Fabio

Smartphones don't have reset buttons like a PPC.

You can create a soft reset by pulling the battery.

Also, many of the smart phones require you to hit the left soft button followed by the "#" key.

Default Thanks

Thank you for explanation.

I already had removed the battery and nothing happened.
I could reset by one tip on this forum: to turn on the mobile while the record button is pressed. A list of commands appears and one of them reset the phone!

Now I need to check how to add support to different languages - t9 Portuguese, e.g.
