Default does anyone know how to get a laptop to use my 700W as a bluetooth modem?

I have been trying to get this to work and it won't so I assume that verizon has taken this ability out of the phone. is there a workaround or software I can download to make this work? I am looking for a solution that will work with my all you can eat data, and not eat up my precious anytime minutes.

  • Have you checked if tethering is enabled from your carrier? Verizon initially disabled BT tethering then decided to allow it after the lawsuit, apparently costs $15 extra. I am not certain that your 700w might not have BT dialup disabled.
  • On non-disabled/hacked devices, it is as easy as pairing/ exploring the 700w selecting BT dialup as the desired service and applying the proper password.
  • You will also need to configure the laptop to use a CDMA modem.

Default Solution: 700 as a modem for laptop

3 easy steps

1. Switch to Sprint
2. Buy a 700p or 700wx
3. Use as directed
