Default Activesync or Push? How do I know?

I have updated my Treo with the new firmware and enabled direct push, but how do I know if it is using direct push or AUTD?

The reason I ask is that the battery drains about twice as fast as it did before I performed this update and enabled this function. I use to be at 50% at the end of the day and now I barely make it through the day (I dont if I use the phone a lot). I use to use Verizon Wireless Sync and I cant imagine why this would drain the battery any faster.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

If you have Direct Push enabled at the exchange server, when you enter ActiveSync and choose "Schedule" from the right soft-key menu, you'll see an option for "As items arrive". On Pre-AKU2 devices, this reads something different (I believe it was "As new items arrive", or something similar). If it says "As items arrive" exactly, than it should be AKU2 and Direct Push. The other entry would be AUTD.
