Just wondering if the 1055 build is solid enough (other than the voice quality issues in the other posts), or should I stick to 1049?

Also, do these ROM upgrades give us 2003, or is it still the 2002 OS?

1055 is rock solid save a few complaints about voice quality. You already know about them, so I won't go into them again.

The ROMs being posted by Everlink are for the 2002 OS. No word on when they'll post a 2003 image, though our Managing Editor seems to know something I don't :wink:

i asked them and they said that it is still being worked on but it should be out by the end of the year
