Default UIQ 2.0 user looks for help concerning i600 /blackjack/ and

Hello;
been looking for answers which trouble me on the net for some time - not one satisfactory. First of all, I gotta have to say I'm from Europe, so I have all this 3g stuff loaded on my phone, no diffrences between providers and so on. There's just the nuisence that neither my current provider, nor my next one, provides any other smartphones...

I currently have, and am happy with, a Sony Ericsson P910i, that I predominantly use as a sms-machine, phone, agenda, dictionary, alarm clock, mail/bank account checking via www from time to time and lastly gaming/snapshooting. The phone is not exactly customizable (which I regret) but on the other hand has loads of software which compensates it(check).

I have a chance of buying an i600 (money is not a concern for it would be sold with a contract). Yet, I have doubts whether it will suit me, please help me considering what I have written above.

Where should I look for software for this machine?
What software is compatible with this phone (I mean Windows-what?) (eg. does http://www.smartphone-freeware.com/ provide apps that are comatible with my phone)?
I'm worried that yet I haven't found a resourcful site with software for this specific phone nor WM5 specific sites.
What about the fact that is a landscape screen, does it narrow down the choice of software?

I would be extremely grateful for some photos/screens from the sms sending program as well as other apps (guess I have seen almost every image on the web which was linked to a /p/review of this phone...)
I got the impression that the phone is really customizable, am I right?

phew, thanks for reading and answering
please excuse my many inquiries, I really want to get informed well.

Default Software and a note of caution

There are several places to purchase software. It depends on what you are looking for, but the basics should help.
http://www.handango.com
http://www.mobihand.com

Take a look at the online publication "Smartphone and PocketPC Magazine"-it also appears in print, but hard to find.

The best bets for productivity is the following:
Documents to go -closest you will get to Win Office
Agenda One-Time/appt/task mgt w/ contact list that will sych with outlook info

Thats a start

Good luck
