So..I just got off the phone with VZW customer service. I tried to buy the phone online, which it lets me do through the upgrade system, but before I dropped 650$ on a new phone I wanted to see when I would be receiving it. I called VZW and talked to a really helpful girl who told me that I could certainly order the phone online now, but that it is not shipping yet and my money would basically be sitting in VZW's account until the phone was released.

The good news is that she told me (after a long time on hold) that someone told her that the phone was slated for release sometime in the next two weeks.
