Default Smartphone notes error code

So I recently bought Smartphone Notes and right form the get go I am unable to sync. I get an error message "unable to sync to notes default folder 0x86220009".

I'm using AS 4.2 and Outlook 2002. I can't figure why contacts, calendar sync and not notes.

I thought at one point I might have fixed it by creating a note on Outlook first and then syncing. It worked for a while but any new notes I've created on my phone brings up the same error message.

As software goes I'm running PI,Facade, and now Smartphone Notes being the more recent purchase. Oh by the way my phone is the HTC S621.

Cheers

Peter

Have you tried talking to the developer? I would expect they might have an idea.

All I can think of is a firewall on the PC.

Thanks Mike for getting back to me. I'm not very computer savy but wouldn't a firewall stop all from syncing. The only firewall I have is XP's and activesync is authorized.

I'll try to contact the developer but in the meantime I'm trying PhatNotes and all seems well. I'm having it sync to my desktop and not through Outlook.

Cheers

Peter
