I have a Motorola MXP200 and am just plain old not thrilled by the fact that the device chews through batteries about 1 per month, is the Orange SPV E100 a decent phone? Will I be okay with it coming from the MPX200?

How reliable is it, how is the signal / sound quality?

e100 is a bit dated now, though I liked it when I had it. If you cant get the latest and greatest...I'd go for the e200 before the e100. many updates and bluetooth as well.

It is a terrible crippled phone. It is slow and lacks sufficient memory to be of any use. It has a strong antenna so RF is ok but everything else is pretty bad.

The c500 is pretty inexpensive now. It is a huge step up from the e100.

The e200 is also better and can be had relatively cheap too.
