Thank you for your time reviewing the E-TEN. I recently got one with the motive being to use a mobile/wifi telephony solution. When both the wifi and GSM are activated at the same time (with hibernation mode set to 3 minutes), the battery is sucked dry as a bone within 8 hours from full charge. Has anyone had the same experience? Any similar experiences or suggestions for solutions?

You'll find that this isn't really a device-specific problem. Wi-Fi radios are huge power suckers, and they'll drain your battery fast, no matter which device you are using. That's why most manufacturers advise consumers not to leave the Wi-Fi radio on if it's not in use. Otherwise, battery life is shortened.
