Does anyone have a comparison shot of the eten with a jam (magician) the eten looks the same sort of dimensions as the k-jam ,is this about rite?

The M600 is bigger than the Magician by about 2-3mm on each side.

nicely detailed and thorough review, i have a question however when it comes to text messages and SMS/MMS and typing...it seems it would be faster compared to a keyboard to just punch/tap in the letters on the screen am i right? or is this more of a subjective thing and different from person to person? I'm curious for those who have experienced both a keyboard and no keyboard if there is really a HUGE difference in input, this in a way is one of the major decisions i'm considering with my first convergence ppc, if anyone could fill me in on that i'd greatly appreciate your views

The latter, and it depends on the size of your fingers relative to the size of the keyboard as well. Having played with a Universal, it's a large device, but that also enables a large thumbboard -- which makes text entry faster for me. The Treo's or the i730's buttons, on the other hand, are a little small for my tastes.

For now, I'd say Expansys would be your best bet. A couple of weeks ago, I read that the M600 was being sold in Thailand under the Laser brand. I'm not sure if this applies to some of the neighbouring countries as well, but I will find out for you.

Darius i just wanted to ask u one thing:-

can the M600 be used as a modem.... say pair it with another PPC or maybe a laptop n get on the net using GPRS connectivity?

i know what i asking but not too sure whether im asking it the right way... i hope u get my query.

Oh, you can - just over Bluetooth, not IR.

It varies from person to person. Like Janak mentioned, it depends on the size of the fingers and keyboard. It also depends on what you've had experience with. Before using a Pocket PC Phone, I used Nokia phones (for nine years), so fast text input via a keypad is something I'm very used to. Having said that, I also tend to type fast using screen-based SIPs (e.g. Keyboard, Fitaly, etc.), so I really don't mind either methods of input.
