Assisted GPS uses a combination of satellite signal and tower data processing and triangulation. It gets a fix much faster and is much more accurate than a regular GPS unit. The tilt contains a GPSone chip capable of assisted mode but by default only runs in standalone mode.

You realise that a-GPS is built in? It's just regular GPS with added server side information collected via the phone.

I think I heard August. And does it not have a replaceable battery? Hmmm.

Time to switch over to the Pocket PC / Professional WinMo side. This is the first Professional device that has me excited. Have been carrying non-touch screen, WinMo Smartphone, device for a long time now but this device has the potential to break that trend.

WOW!!!!

This thing has got me excited like I've never been excited about a phone before. It's such a bummer that SE isn't showing any CDMA love anymore!

Amazing! The PDA I have been waiting for. Any guesses as to which US carrier will be the first to add this bad boy to their lineup? Also, isn't WM 7 expected during the same time frame?

I just hope my Axim x50v will last until August...

Default Sony Ericsson's XPERIA X1

Looking at the specs, it seems that it has support for T-Mobile's up and coming 3g network. I believe T-Mobile is on the 2100 and 1900 band. Can anyone confirm this?
