Default what's the score now?

after the negative posts: HP late to market, not the right size, features, yada, yada, yada. and after the treo annoucement.

this is myscore for WM5 QWERTY devices on the horizon:

Moto Q:
+ good size/design
+ cool
+ GSM expected Q4 05
- WM5 smartphone
- no wifi
- miniSD only
- who knows when

TreoW:
+ good size/design
+ WM5 phone edition
- no wifi
- SD only
- no GSM ver available till H2 06!!

HP 6700:
+ WM5 phone edition
+ wifi G!
+ GPS
+ miniSD only (but with everything else, who cares)
~ decent size/design
~ GSM expected Q1 06

given everything is in there and beating Palm by 1 quarter, what more can HP do? even though Moto makes the holiday season, so what: no wifi and smartphone big minuses for me!

oh yeah, and before you say JasJar, I had one - had it out of the box for less than 2 hours before I repackaged to sell on eBay. sure, it also has great features, but I want a phone next to my ear not a phone book. this brick is unusable without a headset in your ear at all times or in a quiet room where you can use the speaker phone.

to be fair, I was seriously considering the TreoW even though a smartphone and without built-in wifi for size and time to market. but even if the HP slips to the same day, how can you compare?

Default Bluetooth changed?

Does anyone know if the new HP models with WM2005 have switched to using the Microsoft bluetooth stack (like Dell has), or if they've stuck it out with the Widcomm/Broadcom stack?
