Send a message via MSN to isajoo

there is a way to watch without downloading...but since my ppc is out for repair, i dont have the link.

it basically is like a server that uploads the video then u click on the link to the upload and viola.

someone else should have the link...my ppc will not be back for atleast another week or 2. hopefully i will get a FREE upgrade.

Hi, I'm Elie Rodrigue, one of the Hubdog developper.
Just one word to tell your that we recently put on our developper blog page, a Hubdog build that download youtube flv file using a youtube feed.

If you want to try this feature before its officially released, head to http://www.hubdog.com/devblog/ and download the latest standard build.

All download files plays great with TCPMP and the newly released flv plugin!!

Here's a quick reference to youtube rss feeds :
If you want to generate a feed based on a keyword, lets say your keyword is “hubdog” :
http://www.youtube.com/rss/tag/hubdog.rss

If you want to generate to feed of all the videos posted by a user (let’s use my user, ElieRodrigue)

http://www.youtube.com/rss/user/elierodrigue/video.rss

There is also some “global” feed :

I can confirm that this works with the smartphone!

Using Moto Q, WM5 with TCPMP 0.72RC1 and flv plugins, I can watch most flv files, ie from youtube and even some downloaded from photobucket. I have not tried webshots videos yet.

Now I can carry inane rantings of emo freaks everywhere I go. ops:

Is there a method to download youtube videos directly on the smartphone? The Pocket PC has a copy/paste function which I sorely miss on the Smartphone.

how about www.keepvid.com, you can download the flv files easily by just putting in the url ... not sure if it supports the smartphone....

Default I've had no luck with the YouTubeDownload

I copied a few video URLs into the little app and always get "Invalid Returned Link!" I tried both the desktop and the PPC version. Same results.

Suggestions?

Where did you get version 0.81RC1? The official site still has version 0.72RC1, no more.

And googling for 0.81 yields talks about it from one year ago but no new version; some said it hadn't been released yet (2006).

Download sites like Softpedia lists 0.72 also.

BTW:
does the plugin also work with 0.72?
0.81 is a hacked, not recommended version. Stick with the last official version, 0.72 RC1. Flash playback works great under it.
