Way back in the thread it was pointed out that the Mastersoft Soduku product was nominated for our annual Windows Mobile Pocket PC magazine, Best Software Awards, but Soduku Rules wasn't. Just to be fair, both products were introduced at the very end of our nominations process. We became aware of the Mastersoft product but not Soduku Rules.

I have personally tried both products and like them both and would be comfortable recommending either. IMHO for the current versions, the interface for the Mastersoft product is cleaner especially with full screen, and the hint engine for Soduku Rules is quite helpful for learning.

The competetion between the two products is great for consumers.

Okay we've listened and made some huge changes to SuDoku



New features include:

1. In depth statistics.
2. Can use hints even if score is zero. Infact you can hide and ignore the score system if you wish.
3. 14 Different types of hint (with more to come).
4. Lots of new keypad options such as sticky, draggable etc
5. Much harder Master Levels.
6. New Ball and String feature (never seen before)
7. New Load and save options.
8. Over Ten Million SuDokus (I wont say how many ...).
