From what I've heard, there's still no ALT/SHIFT indicator. Wha?!? That should have been working out of the box on day one. When it wasn't, it should have been fixed with a quick patch a week after release. Instead, MONTHS later, they finally release a bug fix release and it's still not there?!?

So does your phone keep it's settings? If I do that when I'm done will my phone make and receive calls or do I need to redo the settings from Sprint?

Yes the basic phone settings remain so upon completion of the update you will be able to make/receive calls, no need to reactivate your phone. You will still need to sync your contacts back to the device.

So does anybody know of a hosted exchange solution that is supporting exchange sp2 that I can use this in conjunction with?

Default Power Over USB Broken???

So I installed this update last night and it went without a hitch. The only problem is that now after some period of time (don't know for sure) it quits powering over USB and goes to battery mode. I've had this phone on this PC doing power over USB for months. I checked the USB Root Hub in device manager and Power Management is still disabled.

Any ideas how I can fix this? It sucks.

Default A2DP Support???

Has anyone noticed the official posting on Sprint's Site? It looks like it is SUPPOSED to have A2DP support. Here's the official transcript pasted from the download page:
Quote:
Software Downloads

PPC 6700 Upgrade Application
File Size Version
APAC_SPCS_20600_300_11200_ship.exe 43MB 206.300.112 Download

This download updates the software on the PPC 6700 including new features and bug fixes. This upgrade requires the use of ActiveSync 4.1 on your computer. ActiveSync 4.1 is available as a free download from Microsoft by clicking here or go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads and choose "mobile devices".

New features added are:

Enhanced security using Secure Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (S/MIME).
The Direct Push technology (Push E-Mail feature) of the Messaging & Security Feature Pack which enables you to receive e-mail messages as soon as they arrive, without waiting for your PPC 6700 to synchronize at a specified interval.
Support for A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile), which allows the use of Bluetooth-enabled stereo headsets.
Does anyone have any idea if this is just a HUGE error or something?

Thanks!
Mike
