Thanks.
Yep, the whole thing can be put on a storage card. only one service file is put into the windows directory.

Am I the only one with a speed issue? 8O

It takes forever to update my channels, which are: 2PocketPCMag, Mobile Review, PDA Today, Pocket PC Magazine, and Pocket PC Thoughts. All of them taken from the online catalouge, to make sure, I didn't make anny URL mistakes :?

My last update took more than 30min. on a 512/128 connection

I'm sure to have done something wrong, because SPB software dont use to be even close to half bad, and so far, Insight have been a big disapointment to me, and my iPAQ h2210, don't recall the last time I had to do 5 soft resets i one hour

My first thought too, but I don't have a lot of free memory for programs, and sertantly not for a couple of MB of RSS feeds :?

Instead I reinstalled the whole thing, and chose the english version this time (previosly used the danish one), and now it seems to run a lot better, allso found that some feeds are slower than others 8O

There seems to be something wrong with the danish version, which shows allready during installation, where the EULA, and Test/Full install options are not in anny language, that I know of :?

That is verry sad, since we don't get to manny PPC programes, supporting our beautyfull language

Well that Normal! Because some feeds are RSS only and so they are quite fast but others download not only a xml-file but also linked paged for the full articles - and that takes much more time (for transmitting/parsing) than only RSS Feeds.

Something tells me Menneysys should do some comparing here (unless he's done it already ).

I just got a promotional email from Pocketgear on comms programs where one can find Smart RSS which does podcasts, has a Today plugin and can be had for $15 (no discount)

Some of the items in the catalog are channels (full text) and some are just normal RSS feeds. The blue icons are channels and the orange icons are plain old RSS feeds.

I gave it a try - I've been using Newsbreak for a year or so. It LOOKS like a good program if I were able to get it to download more than 2 feeds on my MDA. Loaded 2 feeds, got stuck on the third and wouldn't do anything after that - even with a soft reset....

I'd give it another go once it's updated.
