Default Screen Utility

I am looking for a screen a utility to turn off my screen during syncs and playing MP3/Music. All the ones I have found have to be mapped to a button. I want one that turns off the screen entirely while keeping the device on, like a hold switch. I am trying to find an app that does this after a delay of seconds. I found one on FreewarePPC but it is not compatible with the 4700. Any other you guys know of?

Does this work? I have not tried it so I don't know if you need to map it to a button.

There is no system-level utility for this because it's IMHO pretty impossible to notice from a separate, resident app to see when a new sound file has just been started. You either need to use a player that supports this (the built-in WMP doesn't - the only WMP-related utility is a 'suspend/switch off the device after some minutes' PHM app at http://www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/Plus/#SleepTimer), or, have to resort to a button-mappable screenoff utility.

Of the latter, I'd recommend ScreenLock ( http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities...pocketpc.shtml ) because it also protects your PPC's battery life by only switching back the screen after pressing two given app keys simulataneously. It's working ok on SE devices.

I see. I guess I will have to resort to a button use. That seems alright. Thanx.
