Default Phone Profile Manager

Hi Gang,

I`ve been using a Dell Axim x51v for quite a while now. This xMas, I give myself a present, a new HTC Touch Pro, very nice device I was tired of managing 2 devices, my PDA and my cell.

What do you use or recommend to manage all the ring volume, vibration, SMS, email, etc Profile. I would like to manage based on time, appointment etc.. It would also be nice to have a different volume for my Ring and SMS/Message.

Thanks for your help,
Eric

Just today in the forums, Connective Tools announced Volume Switcher. It's also cheaper than PocketZenPhone.

There's also PhoneAlarm, PhoneWeaver and Phone Suite.

I'm also pretty sure I've seen a freeware profile switcher discussed here, but I couldn't find it.

I haven't used any of them (I have a WM 6 Standard device), so I can't recommend one over the other.

Steve

P.S. You have a Pocket PC Phone, not a Smartphone (even though Microsoft calls them both smartphones now), so posting on Pocket PC Thoughts is probably a better place if you don't find what you want here.

I can vouch for Phoneweaver, pretty flexible with lots of options. Don't know how it stands against the competition though.
