I believe they've used "smartphones" in the context that every smart phone (including Pocket PC Phones) is a "Smartphone". Analogous to Palm's labeling of its Treos as Smartphones, but contrary to Microsoft's preferred use of the term "Smartphone" - if that makes sense.
That said, I have seen cases of Minimo working on Smartphones, but it hasn't always delivered positive experiences. As you've identified, certain portions fail to work. |
