Default Danger

Hello,

I work at Innobec and I did a "few" things in SideWindow and I really dont think this is related to WM5...This does however look like a bug in the driver.
Normally when a driver fails you dont need to use a recovery disk...Only start windows in safe mode and uninstall the faulty driver and send us an e-mail to tell us the software did not work for you.

Have a nice day

Patrick R.

Thanks for your reply. You are right, and I was bit in a hurry when I was writing my post. And I used safe mode, not recovery disk as I previously stated -- simply mistaken XP safe mode with my mp3 player recovery mode...

Anyway, when I've installed trial version again, I encoutered problems with ActiveSync (no connection). I will try to resolve this later. I don 't need more assistance, It's not that important.

I agree. It was definitely a first release which could do with some polish like this. I wonder if they just didn't sell enough copies to make further development worthwhile. It would be a shame it that was the case.

And I don't have any problems with running it with my Vario 2 (aka Hermes; TyTn etc. etc.) which is a WM5 machine

you think side window is useful you should try Desktop Rover from Neslo software.

This allows you to use your PC's mouse and keyboard on your PPC while its connected via activesync.

you just move the mouse over onto the screen, and start using the PPC like the keyboard and mouse is plugged into it.

you can even paste text back and forth between the 2

I use it to control 3 PC's and a PPS all from one mouse and keyboard.
