Default 2 Questions From a Rookie

Hello From a Rookie 8O ,

I am in the process of buying my first pda phone. My small company has several people (myself included) that need live/easy access to the same schedules. My sales people and I need to be able to schedule our crews without overlapping each other. And, WebCal combined with Google Calendar sounds like it could be a perfect fit for our needs.

I have 2 questions, however.

Has the WebCal technology been tested on iPAC and TREO? I am really concerned about buying the right phone. These 2 are not the only options, just the 2 that I am most interested in right now.

If I have to logon to the internet to change my Google Calendar (as was discussed in a previous post) then what is WebCal really helping me with? Sure, I can have WebCal update my Google Cal, but what is the difference between that method and just working with Google Calendar directly?

Default DOESN'T WORK

I had a pocket-pc-enthusiast friend try out Snoopsoft's webcal and it did not work at all. I do now know what exactly happened, but it would not work on a Dell or Treo.

Default Question

Does this post the calendar events into the main outlook calendar program on the pocketpc? I would like to use snoopsoft to pull the data, but display it other ways on my today screen.

No, just on the Today screen. If you want to incorporate the Google Calendar data into Outlook, you can use CompanionLink, but it's method of synchronisation isn't as "direct" as WebCalendar.
