Default Dashwire Dashingly Develops

http://dashwire.com/

"Dashwire has come a long way since last October –feedback we’ve received from you and private beta users from 68 countries around the world has helped us improve the service. We’ve made a ton of improvements, added new features to our web and mobile phone experiences, and are now excited to be opening up our beta so that all users get immediate access to the Dashwire service. Dashwire is focused on becoming the central hub that seamlessly bridges the mobile phone and web worlds, simplifying experiences and making it easy to access and share the world captured on your phone. We have a number of new things we will be sharing at CTIA in Vegas next week that we wanted to share with you first"

Dashwire is a pretty cool service that I've been playing around with now for a few months. While I haven't been using it extensively lately, I am excited to see some of the new features they've built in - features I predict will make me more likely to use it in the future. For example Dashwire now lets you share your media to social networking sites, instant status updates, threaded SMS, andmore. Oh, and did I mention it's now an open to the public? Go ahead, check it out!

So, being the app junkie i am, I almost jumped all over this a week or so ago. I am honestly trying to spare my poor laptop (and phone) from ROMing/RAMing out of gas, so I grab myself by the throat before hitting the download button these days to see if I will really use what has grabbed my attention. This question i had on this one was, is this going to cause havoc or any mucking about with Active Sync......or any other pairings? Any input from those who have tried it? Thanx.

I use Dashwire a bit, and it hasn't caused any problems so far. I use ActiveSync daily, though not Exchange ActiveSync yet (IT Dept too busy...)

I have set the sync to Dashwire to manual: The auto-sync was happening way too often and hammering my battery life. One sync per day is fine for my usage patterns.
