Yes, but how to get the pocketPC reader activated is not obvious... The DRM activation site does not show a button to activate this version -- there is one for the desktop version and one for the palm os... what is up with that?

Yes, I've just spent ages trying to get that going - so how DO you activate it?

On the subject of SE, I understand the VGA thing, but does it really not work with landscape? I know ver 1 had a problem if you switched orientation while the reader was running. It loaded fine and ran fine if you started it with the PPC in the orientation you wanted to view it in. In addition ver 1 had a native landscape mode, i.e. you could rotate the view within the program. That feature still exists. So if you are viewing adobe in portrait and want to view landscape, you could use the adobe rotate rather than the OS rotate. That's actually more convinient unless you have mapped a hardware button to do the OS rotate I would think.

I haven't loaded the new version on an SE machine yet, but can't imagine they would have eliminated something ver 1 could do.

I think we have to wait for Adobe to get its act together on the activation page and add an option for the PPC... The instructions are clear in the users guide, but the web site does not have the PPC option available ("yet", I hope)...

I downloaded Repligo today and tried to convert 3 separate pdf files to Repligo and all 3 of them failed. Adobe works every time (So far) and gives me all the features I need. 2215 BTW.

Additionally, in the age of gazillion MB CF and SD cards I just don't see big program files being the problem they were 2 or 3 years ago.

That's odd. I haven't had one fail yet, and I've done 450 page tech manuals. It does take some time. Maybe yours are protected files or something.

I have Repligo too, but Repligo is useless if you download a PDF to your PocketPC and you need to open it natively. Repigo needs a PC to convert while Acrobat can read the files as they are, no conversion necessary.

For me, Repligo is most useful on application data files where there is no PocketPC version of the app.
