You've tested it?

Then shouldn't that be: Apple CLAIMS it will work just fine.

I'll be curious to see the performance over EDGE with it...

My Nokia E62 uses Cingular/AT&T EDGE. There was no problem with speed/performance.

Perhaps this is why AT&T upped the speed of their EDGE network recently.

Nokia N75 on AT&T works fine. Loads in realplayer. I watched the Plane landing also.

For the record, it was a quote from the Tech Evangelist site and I can take no credit for it, but glad it's working on the750. So, do you think it's something you'll use?

Or you can install Opera Mobile and the Adobe Flash Player 7 for Pocket PC... ouTube works just well with this combination. Not the most "mobile" experience though.

I have a Treo 750v but always get connecting error after Streaming Media opens. I am using UMTS with about 230kbps speed. Is it because I am not in the US?

As for the technical aspect it works quite ok, only I am not fond of the QVGA screen resolutions (the Treo is my latest attempt to get a decent qwerty touchscreen phone with Skype capability for my wife) so I personally would want a VGA phone to check it out on.

What limits my personal interest at this time is that only very few videos are available at this time, if you try to search just about any word you can think of you'll get this "Only a portion of YouTube videos are available on mobile at this time. We are working hard to bring you more!"

But hey you can try that yourself too on any "regular" computer:
http://m.youtube.com/

P.S. On the iPhone I wonder if that is an m.youtube.com or www.youtube.com I have a feeling it is m.youtube.com as it was just added to the "features" the past few days...but who knows, if it does "normal" youtube, that will be a decent selling gimick I'm sure.
