Default More Pictures of Samsungs i620 Slider

http://www.engadget.com/2007/08/31/hands-on-with-samsungs-sgh-i620-wm6-slider/

"It might look a little squat at first glance, but slide her open and the SGH-i620 is ready for business. We had some tactile problems with the touch-sensitive buttons up top, but the scroll wheel is like butter. Like most keyboards, we need some more time with it to give it a fair rating, but at first touch it's certainly passable. The screen seems awkwardly tiny compared to most recent smartphones, but it's certainly sharp and bright"

The Samsung i620 Slider was officially announced at IFA in Berlin last week. Engadget had a chance to play with the device and have posted a short comment on it along with a series of pictures.  It looks so small and pocketable. MobileBurn also have a small write-up on the device that covers off all the spec's and expected availability. I really hope there's a Quad-band version coming to North America.  I'm really liking this phone, despite the small screen size.

OMG They included some new custom Samsung homescreen plugins again !!

Click ... Click ...

Also, I think we'll get to know how to get black softkeys with WM6 using registry hacks with this device, since I don't believe Samsung uses BaseHueExpress or something

Looks neat, I'm curious how easy it is to use the keyboard since the top row of keys are right below the sliding portion of the screen

While this phone certainly looks interesting, I'm really waiting for Samsung to release the i760 model. I'm in the market for a Treo 700w replacement, that has Windows Mobile 6 and maxed out with lots of memory, wi-fi, etc. I'm not assuming that Palm's next offering is going to be good enough. Anybody with any new info on the i760?
