Yes, I am worried about that as well.
... The other thing that kinda has me a little down lately is the fact that I am losing my enthusiasm for Microsoft. ... WM doesn't seem much different than it was 5 years ago, and Windows Vista is a yawner as well.
... I guess that was way off topic.
I agree on all accounts.

Since writing my comment, I realized that the 3rd generation of Ipod "touch" could be my next device. It's amazing how Apple is quickly/quietly moving into this [pda/handheld computer] space from the music angle.

Ed Hansberry could write it much better than I, but it is a shame how Microsoft has squandered the chance to have everyone having Windows Mobile devices with specialized, fine-tuned interfaces for music playing, video, GPS, gaming, whatever. Case in point: Why does the Zune exist? (I know; most people don't know it does.) It could have been a Windows Mobile device with a usable music playing user interface. Now Apple is doing exactly that (with OSx inside). And why isn't there a Mobile X-Box, based on WM6-gaming edition?

An iPhone W/O THE PHONE? What a ridiculous concept! But it is getting right back to what Pocket PC used to be, but with a user interface that someone takes seriously - hiding the computer within.

But why going to HTCmail ? gmail is free, gmail is in dependant of the device. what you will do after 1 year with Hic Mail on an HTC denice and want to switch to another brand.

I will not put all my eggs in the same basket !
Where do you get the O2 XDA Flame in the US? That device was announced nearly a year ago on this website on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 by Darius Wey. If it's still unavailable, it reminds me too much of the iMATE Ultimate line that was announced about that same time & still has yet to produce a device. These types of devices that never seem to come out remind me of the much anticipated Motorola MPx several years ago... All Blue Sky... Maybe the new Glowfish 800?
No in the US, but in the world. The internet world. I live in France and I purchased mine in Australia on anythingonline.com.au

I had not a X51V but a loox720 and a n311. Flame is better than them. A real 3,5" VGA, 120 mb ram, 2gb non volatile ram, radio fm, nvidia graphic coprocessor, 2,5g and 3g phone, bluetooth, infrared, video out, usbhost and a dedicated forum created by users http://www.xdaflameusers.com
And you will find users that comes from all over the world induding US

Default HTCmail

I have absolutely no intention of purchasing and/or using Outlook 2007 or any other Outlook, so I obviously can't use HTCmail. In other words I will not get into bed with Microsoft just because HTC wants me to. I'll stay with my Gmail account!
