Default Whoa! Can change system clock to analog

A friend showed me this...

-From the Today screen, do a hold-down tap on the system clock.
-Select "Analog" from the menu that pops up.

Works on 2002 and 2003 - why didn't read about this somewhere? Is it in the device manuals?

i noticed this too but i thought the analog version of the clock was fairly useless if you want an accurate time

You can see this feature in a lot of screen shots... I believe it is not mentioned because most of us are using task switching programs... such as WisBar... that is skinning the top of the screen.

It doesn't work if you use the reg hack to show the date under the clock. No biggie though. The analog version is really unaccurate.

my clie has an anolog clock on the side of the screen. Clicking on it gives you a large clock, and the date.

You can switch the type of clock showing by changing the value in the registry,

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\TBOpt

I believe there are four types which include no clock, digital time, time and date, and analog clock.

The anolog clock looks more professional as compared to the digital one. I like it! Thanks David!

I knew about this since I first got my PPC.

Its actually funny, I fell asleep on the PPC when the clock was digital and I woke up to it being analog.

I like to just keep it analog and click on it to get more detailed time/date info.
