Default Performance on the XDA II - Internet

3) Would we b able to improve the performance whilst surfing on the Internet using XDA II, the current speed is 9600 bps (V.32)?

If you're connecting at 9600 bps, you're using GSM, not GPRS. GPRS is a data service offered by your carrier and has speeds up to 56,000 kbps, though depending your carrier you'll often be in the 20,000 kbps to 30,000 kbps.
