Hi guys... need some help from the gurus... A company I'm working for is looking to deploy a handheld app, and is looking for virus protection for the handheld units. (App is loaded on a CF card inserted in the unit).

They checked around briefly and found a solution from a company called Avast? http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_pda_edition_pr.html. Anyone had experience/heard of them?

I have heard of Avast, but not of the anti-virus products they make. They may send you a trial copy if you request it. The company I work for received a bundled discount from Symantec when we requested their Handheld AntiVirus software. Symantec is a resource hog and I would like to see something else used.

There is also Trend Micro Mobile Security. Can't comment much on the resource consumption, though. There's hardly a threat in the Windows Mobile space that warrants the installation of the application - yet.
