I have windows mobile 5.0 on my htc 6700. I have windows media player 11 on my desktop computer at home.

When I try to play videos I shot with my device (MP4 format) after synchronizing with my home computer, it won't work. Do I need to purchase a MP4 codec? Some other software?

I thought active synch was supposed to convert the files to make them playable on the desktop. Apparently it does not. Any suggestions?

Try QuickTime. That usually does the trick.
