FINALLY, I can now host Q3 games off of my Pocket PC - something I honestly can't tell you how many times I've wished I can do :mrgreen: Seriously, while this might not be the most practical use of your Pocket PC (Get a spare computer for this job!), it is extremely geeky and thus worthy of a post. What other tasks do you think we should investigate doing on a PPC? I'm thinking a low-level mail server...

As far as TCP/IP multiplayer games are concerned, Cube server: it seems to be working (see my Cube article here at the PPCT forums). The same stands for some other multiplayer games with a separate server component (for example, all OmniGSoft multiplayer titles)

Non-gaming-related networking server: a lot of them:

FTP, HTTP by Cambridge Computer Corp.
HTTP Proxy by me

And, if you install a (preferably dual-boot) Linux distro on it, you can run any other servers - even SMTP servers.

I ran a lightweight web server on my "Space Needle" XDA back in 2002... Pointless but geeky.
