Hi all. I just got an idea. Wouldn't it be possible to set up a wifi hotspot with some kind of cell phone based device that uses EDGE? Does this exist yet? Any ideas on how to do this? My basic idea is to get unlimited data with t-mobile (or someone else), and have this EDGE hotspot running in my car. Then I would use one of these type devices to get internet radio stations in my car:

Maybe there is a simpler way to do this? Maybe that city blanket wifi that Verizon was promoting a little while ago? Any ideas on how to best impliment internet radio and/or wifi in my car would be greatly appreciated.

There is a backpack out that does something similar.

Basically, the backpack is solar powered and uses a WiFi to Cellular gateway to turn you into a walking hotspot.
