With the PC on, you can just use ActiveSync pass-through. With the PC off, you'll need a Pocket PC with WiFi to connect to a router (or, possibly, a Pocket PC with Bluetooth to connect to a Bluetooth Access Point).

If you tell us what Pocket PC you have, maybe we can give more help.

Eh, that's not possible - not without extra hardware, in which case it doesn't matter if its in the cradle. When your computer is off, how would it use the internet/network connection from that computer? Makes no sense at all.

Isn't that basically what I said? However, as we don't know what Pocket PC jet87 is talking about or what Internet connectivity he has, he may have that "extra hardware", which I also said.

Also, if he does have WiFi, being in the cradle can matter for one thing -- power. WiFi takes a lot of power, and being in the cradle will allow using it longer (except for some people who don't power their cradles).
