Default Taking Tomorrow Off (Isn't Everyone?)

We're taking the rest of the night off and tomorrow as well, but don't worry; we'll be back on Friday with more news, reviews, and other fun stuff including our next contest!  Have a Happy New Year celebration, be careful out there, and remember: nothing cures a hangover like a nice greasy burger (no, I'm not kidding; works for me every time!).

Good night all!

(Hey, why don't you share some of those resolutions you're making this year in the comments so we can all have a laugh about it next year!)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

My biggest New Year's resolution? Cutting waaaaay back on my sugar intake. I used to be pretty good about not eating sugar, but have "fallen off the wagon" lately.

When I was a kid, I used to be a total sugar fiend, but somewhere along the line I totally lost that. I don't remember how or when it happened, but it did and I'm better for it...

...Although I still indulge in chocolate a little too much for my own good, but it's chocolate for God's sake!

I started my New Year's resolution early (because If I waited until New Years, I was never going to do it.) I decided this is the year I'm going to quit smoking. It's about 10x worse for me than anybody else because I'm an asthmatic, and I get sick WAY too often. So, got the patch and started the day after Christmas.

1. cut out the sodas. I stopped drinking soda in the mid-90's, unless it contained alcohol of course but recently started up again... so no more!

2. watch the spending. no unnessecary purchases... cannot afford them.

3. read more. I noticed I have been glued to the tele from the moment I get off work until bed time. From now on I need to read at least a book every two weeks.

I've been told that's a hard one Joe, and have watched friends do it, but it's definitely on of the most life-affirming New Year's resolutions there is. It will be tough, but stick with it!

Reading is definitely a great activity - have fun with that one!
